Richard Campbell

Governance Committee Member

Richard played for three years in the late 70s as a second row. He graduated with a degree in economics, going directly into an MBA (marketing) program at Syracuse. He played briefly with the Orangemen, until a separated shoulder took him out. Richard worked in marketing research and marketing at Pfizer in NYC, then moved into healthcare advertising. He and two partners formed Regan Campbell Ward, an agency within the McCann Erickson network – working there until the agency was absorbed by McCann in 2015. Since then he and his partners have started a new business leveraging AI and machine learning to identify brand archetypes in pharmaceuticals. Richard lives in Larchmont, NY with his wife and two of his three children. His third, Nick, is a senior at Michigan playing wing/fullback on the rugby team.
