Christian Collis earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan in 1993. In 1997, he received his law degree from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. Christian is the youngest of five siblings. He was born and raised in Dearborn where he attended Divine Child Catholic Elementary and High School. Mr. Collis built a highly regarded reputation in the legal community while working as a personal injury attorney at many law firms. Christian played rugby for the University of Michigan for about 15 years beginning in 1990. He played multiple positions on the pitch, but saw most of his and team’s success when playing Wing and/or Fullback. He was a player for the only team in Michigan's history to win a National Rugby Championship in 1995. His play garnered national attention and was offered a tryout for the USA Eagles Sevens squad following his play at National Sevens in Palo Alto. That sane Michigan team made a return trip to the National Sevens Championship in 1995. A Board member of the Michigan Rugby Foundation since its inauguration, Christian believes that the Foundation is the step necessary to generate funds for the University College Team; a chance to help make greatness on the pitch and change young men’s lives in the process.
